Nobody

I had to go to a party.
I took a shower,
Shaved;
And splashed
Gallons of aftershave& perfumes
On myself.

Put on my
Armanis, D&Gs, and Gucci’s,
Tied a Rolex on my wrist.

Just before getting out
I went to
The mirror on the wall
To ensure
That I was presentable.

My shoes were shining;
My socks were
A perfect match to
My trousers.

The striped necktie
And my silk shirt
Endorsed
My refined tastes.

Everything was
Just right &
Just in place.

But I was missing;

Gone!

Vanished!

Lost!
